Is 杭州 a good first stop?
Hangzhou is workable as a first stop when the arrival point and hotel are fixed before travel. The airport publishes separate official taxi and ride-hailing pickup areas, while a rail traveler must use the exact station on the 12306 ticket. Treat the West Lake plan as optional until the transfer, data, and payment path work.

- Hangzhou Airport directs travelers needing wheelchair help to the information desk or airline staff. Ask the airline and airport to confirm the exact arrival-to-ground-transport handoff before travel.
- Families or heavy luggage
- The airport publishes free luggage-trolley locations. Compare the lift and walking path to the B2 ride-hailing area with the staffed taxi queue for your group.
- Late arrival
- Reopen the current airport bus page after landing. If the listed service does not fit, use the official taxi queue; do not rely on an old timetable.

- 可以——如果你的目标是西湖加一个重点（灵隐寺或一家茶馆）。时间会有点紧，但能行。要去茶村或湖区以外的地方，就安排过夜吧。从上海虹桥到杭州东的高铁大约一小时，班次很密。
- 几月份去杭州最好？
- 三月底到五月，以及九月中到十一月。夏天又热又潮；冬天靠水边会又冷又湿。
